Yes. We are in the last hours of 2015. I don’t know about you, but it has been a very eventful year for me. This year my relationship with God went deeper. I don’t have an eye opening testimony but I am just grateful for my future husband, my family, both earthly and my brothers and sisters in Christ. And getting a bigger hunger for His Word.
I also learned a lot about myself. I can be too hard on myself. Always putting deadlines and I usually follow through. However, in my venture of business, which I was planning to quit my day job and go into art full time , was supposed to happen today. That was supposed to be the big reveal, but since June 29th, I had to stop and wait. I thought about a few opportunities that I put myself in, in order to put my art out there, but it was just thousands of dollars that I can’t get back. It’s okay. I’m not complaining, just letting you know what going on and why I put post on this blog sporadically since then .
I know my walk with Christ will not be easy, only because life is not easy. I know I was put on this earth for a purpose and that is to serve people for the glory of God through the visual arts. I will resume making art January 2016 and you will see me make it in the process very soon.
I also want to thank all the new friends I made in this year through Facebook and fellow bloggers. James from the Isaiah 53:5 project, Amok arts, Shae Bynes and Amos Johnson. I’m looking forward to speaking to you and perhaps meeting any of you one day.
Overall, as we head into another year, 2016, I want to continue seeking God first in all that I do. Waiting for the Holy Spirit to green light the way, I have peace about it is the way to go.
Have a happy new year everybody!
Love you with the love of the Lord!
