Today is the 6th day of my bible art challenge, which starts with the letter F.
The story of Felix can be found in Acts 24
Felix was a governor in the times of Apostle Paul. He was one of the many officials Paul tried to convince about Jesus and that the Jews who followed Him was not part of a cult. However, Paul may have touched a nerve but overall Felix has ulterior motives and wanted to follow where Paul was coming from, but wanted to side with the Jews against Paul, for popularity reasons.
This particular letter has very few names in the Bible. Other than Festus, Felix was the only one that had some curiousity about Jesus. If he was in present day, he would be a double minded politician and do things to just gain favor in front of people.
I hope you enjoyed this and that some light is shed on the people behind the scenes of the main characters of the Bible. Like my Pastor would say, it takes team work to make the dream work!
For the love of God and Art!
