Men in Authority: Higher than him, Praising in peace (1) (2012)
Yes, I know it’s the end of the month, but that does not mean that this is the last art story! Far from not! However, this is the last set that will be shown in the Men in Authority series. It will extend into February so it can finish off the week. As you may follow, all art work featured in this blog are for sale and a significant portion of its sales will go towards the Cassondra Lenoir Scholarship Foundation. If you know anyone who is interested in applying for this scholarship, please do so! Applications are accepted until March 31, 2017, so do not tarry! If you still want to help, you can today by collecting this featured piece for your home. You would not be only investing in art, but also helping a student going into college as the first in their generation. For more details on how to do that, please click on this link.
Making Praising in Peace
What an interesting title for this piece. Yes, I know, how can you do anything in peace when there is conflict all around you? It sounds very impossible to man, but nothing impossible with God. This man, in the military is praising God no matter what is going around him. Just imagine it, there’s gunshots all around, people frantic and panicking and overall chaos. (Sad to say, this is does not just happen in a war zone, but some neighborhoods are overridden with crime so you are in a war zone every day). In order to get through it, you need something stable, something that would not just get you pass the turmoil, but also be alive on the other side.
I dedicate this piece to the people who have to deal with death everyday, not just current soldiers and veterans. Death is never easy to deal with, but I know it would be liveable when you have The Source, Who will never leave you nor forsake you, in Jesus name.
Again, I hope this piece have inspired you and when you are ready to buy this work of art, remember that it’s an investment. An investment not just for you, but for a child who would be the first to attend college in her/his family.
You are welcome!
For the love of God and art!
