For a Single Purpose: David I (2013)
Happy Valentines Day. I hope all is well and that you are enjoying this “love” holiday of the year. In today’s post, we find a man who’s got such a passionate and strong heart for the Lord and others in authority. No one messes with David. If he was still alive today, I would be his wife. I got a crush on David with his pretty boy strong man of God self . We know David isn’t perfect, but he mans up to his mistakes, and repents immediately of any sin. He’s definitely an artsy lover, for it is known he wrote 2/3rds of the Psalms. As you know, today’s featured artwork is for sale and a portion of its proceeds goes towards the Cassondra Lenoir Scholarship Fund.
The Cassondra Lenoir Scholarship Fund is currently accepting applications, if you want to apply, please click on this link here. If you still want to help, you can absolutely by investing in this original rare work of art, and you will make an investment in a student’s life. Why did you pick David? Wasn’t he married?
David was not married his whole life. He was 17 years old when he defeated Goliath and that was when he was single. He had a heart for God at such a young age and his passion for God is apparent in all of his actions. David was a shepherd and was diligent in overseeing all of the sheep from dangerous animals. He even seized a bear and lion by his hair and killed it from terrorizing his sheep (I Samuel 17:34). As you can see, David do not play and God saw that. That’s why He used him to display His glory, to show that God can use anybody who is willing and obedient to Him.
Thus the art displayed in David was the preparation, just before he defeated Goliath. You will see I Samuel 17 unveil itself through the three renditions of this work. I hope you have enjoyed it thus far and I look forward to seeing you tomorrow for David II. Purchase this work of art today and you will also have the opportunity to invest in a student’s life. Be blessed.
For the love of God and art!
