Daniel III (2013). 28″ by 36″. Collage on plyboard.Thru His vessel JB. For a Single Purpose.

Is Daniel 3, your biggest work to date?

Yes, this piece and 10 other works in For ┬áSingle Purpose series are large works that each took approximately 16-20 hours to create, sometimes in one sitting. If I weren’t putting together a mosaic, and just used acrylic paint, it would have been less strenuous of course.

How did you plan the lion den scene?

I did a lot of planning and plenty of prayer over this piece( I’m sure Daniel would have done the same). The main point is to show that although he was in the lion den, he was to show no fear! Animals can sniff fear, a mile away and even if he was a little nervous, all of that nervous energy went into praising God. However, I believe he ┬áreally didn’t show any fear since this is not the first time God has used Daniel to glorify His purposes.

Again, invest in this piece, you will not have an excellent work of art in your collection, you will make a difference in someone’s life. Stay blessed!

For the love of God and art!
